Several nominees for the prestigious 2010 prize, which was awarded last year to President Obama, surfaced on Wednesday in news reports. Among them: “The Internet” and, separately, several of the Web’s creators, including Larry Roberts, Vint Cerf and Tim Berners-Lee, who is pictured above.

So here are the nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize:

- Barack Obama – Currently has not done something; but it is hopeful, if not likely that he will.

- The Internet – Sounds like a good idea, it has brought peace to many waring nations. Hey! It also means everyone in the world will receive the Nobel Peace Prize!

- Al Gore – We need to recognize him again for his great efforts with global warming…oh wait… Global Warming Under Review
